I think it's great, the idea, the system, tasks etc. There is just not enough feedback or explanation for me to what the stuff means, for example, why are sometimes the traits grayed out? I never knew when the messages on the right are going to be evaluated (I don't know what few weeks is exactly). I always felt that the villagers have still some health left but next turn they disappeared, and I wasn't sure if they died or something else happened (there was still one standing). Lot of small things. Some balancing would also help sometimes. I always ended up with all the villagers having low health, but I didn't have enough herbs or medicine to heal them. I didn't know if I should focus more on the messages on the right or their health because I couldn't really prioritize what is more important at the moment, there was just not enough information for me to decide. Maybe I missed some stuff and I understand it is a simple prototype and lot could be improved. But overall, it could be great start to something fun.

Thanks,

You are absolutely right. Showing the player the almost final product instead of working on it together with him caused all those problems you mentioned. A lot of things that were clear to me and the testers are not necessarily clear to the player. That’s why in recent versions, in addition to the Help tab, I added some features - difficulty levels, tooltips explaining some things. Apparently, it is still not enough.

The game itself is not too long, it gives you the opportunity to take different paths, check their results, learn about upcoming events and prepare for them. With each new attempt you should be able to get further.

Please take a moment to describe the feedback - even if it would be bad - it will help me refine future projects.
